Robert Holman, MD, Joins Cambridge Consulting Group

Wayne, Pennsylvania – Cambridge Consulting Group (CCG) is pleased to announce that Robert Holman, MD, has joined CCG as an Associate Advisor.

Dr. Holman joins CCG after retiring as Medical Director and assistant Fire Chief at Washington D.C. Fire and Emergency Medical Services. Dr. Holman joined the District of Columbia Fire and EMS in 2016 and was a leader and innovator, creating the agency’s Nurse Triage Line, “Right Care, Right Now” program, & providing leadership during the COVID pandemic and more. Among his many honors, in 2024 Dr. Holman was the recipient of the Dr. Paul Pepe “Eagles” award for national leadership in EMS.

Dr. Holman graduated from the Georgetown University School of Medicine and continued to intern at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He then returned to the District for his residency in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University. After completing his Chief Medical Residency at Georgetown, Dr. Holman completed a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the National Institutes of Health.

His vast experience includes 24 years of practicing in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases in Arlington, Virginia, teaching as a Professor of Medicine at Georgetown, and serving as an Associate Dean of Clinical Education for Georgetown at the Virginia Hospital Center.

Dr. Holman also served 13 years at the National Board of Medical Examiners, where he helped develop and manage the Step Two portion of the United States Medical Licensing Exam.

He served as Internal Medicine Discipline Director for three years at Unity Health Care in Washington, DC before joining the staff of DC Fire and EMS where he oversaw the Assistant Medical Director, the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Division and EMS Peer Review Division, Healthcare Services/Public Health Analysis Division, and the Controlled Substances Division.

At CCG Dr. Holman will help provide strategic direction, transformational leadership, and bold thinking to CCG’s clients. He brings a proven track record of leading with authenticity and promoting a collaborative culture of empowerment, engagement, dedication to patient outcomes, and operational excellence.
